  • Reset

Well I got through it. Mike’s Sports Bar in Medicine Lodge, the place where I had my CD release party for Coffee Grounds, is now a private club. I went in and instead of the family-oriented drunken atmosphere I was expecting, there were a bunch of fat guys with beards whom I’d never seen before.…

  • 8 hours of sleep…out of 48

Got back from practice last night at 3:00am. I’m running a little low on sleep. 10 hours on the road yesterday and another 4 coming up today. You’d think I’d get tired of this stuff. Doc rode with me yesterday. Man, that guy has some stories. Everything from Vince Gill walking up and asking to…

  • Red Dirt Scene

Holy cow, folks…check this out: www.reddirtscene.com There is a downloads section that has some stellar bootlegs on it. A must see! I’m still downloading myself.

They were surprisingly good, backing Pete’s performance solidly. The thing that mainly surprised me was that there was no snake…

Doc Nelson has 27 years of experience. He spent many years in Nashville doing studio work. He also spent a lot of time touring nationally as…

  • Stats come back up

After two months of declining web hits, probably due to my lack of writing often, we’re coming back up. With the new band members, bigger future bookings and the new band log, we should see some major increases in traffic. Shouldn’t take long to surpass the August and September statistics.

  • Rock and roll

For those of you who either live under a rock or are trained so well as to come directly to this log, we’ve added not one but two other members to the band. Doc and Mike, glad to have ye. Oh, and by the way, these guys are good. Better make plans for JC this…
